Last night i dropped the steam iron on the carpet of a house we are renting.
No matter how it happens it will leave a very noticeable black mark.
My son dropped the iron on the carpet then carried on ironing his jumper sweatshirt material and all he has is an iron print where the carpet has come off of the iron.
My iron feel off the ironing board to the other side and onto the carpet thankfully in spare room by time i got to the other side of the board to pick it up it had melted a bit of carpet onto the base plate.
