You do not really need to mirror your htv if you have a symmetrical non text design.
If you re using sticky vinyl adhesive you do not mirror your image.
Htv has a clear plastic carrier sheet that covers the top of the vinyl and the other side is where the heat sensitive adhesive is it is not sticky or tacky to the touch.
The side which has the carrier sheet will be facing out from your t shirt.
So remember always flip or reverse the image before printing.
That s because the design is placed face down on to your garment.
As a general rule you do not mirror adhesive vinyl.
If you are ironing on to a pillow you can place a piece of a thin fabric over the vinyl.
When to mirror heat transfer vinyl.
Iron over the back of the shirt or fabric for about 20 25 seconds.
However if your adhesive vinyl is going on the inside of a window or similar you mirror the design before cutting.
